If you’ve followed Paadia for a while, you’ll know we’re serious about smart automation. Our philosophy is simple: if a task can be handled by AI, we’ll hand it over. That frees us up to focus on what really matters. Conversations instead of checklists. Relationships instead of reminders. Personalised education and consulting instead of repetitive admin.
We’ve already tried a wide range of tools. From apps that do one specific thing to full workflow automation platforms like Zapier and Make.com. They all have potential but they often come with a steep learning curve. Many require technical know-how or complex setup steps. On top of that, most are run by overseas companies, which means your subscription money leaves New Zealand.
That’s why discovering Autohive was such a refreshing change.
This isn’t a full Autohive review. It’s a look at how we’re using it in our day-to-day work, what’s working well, where it shines, and why we think it’s worth your time.
Why Autohive is different
We first started using Autohive during its early access phase and were instantly intrigued. We rebuilt some of our existing workflows from Make.com to see how the system stacked up and were impressed by how smooth the process was. More than that, we loved seeing what AI product development can look like when it’s done locally with pride, care and a sense of community.
Now that Autohive is publicly available, anyone can create AI agents that handle repetitive or time-consuming work. You simply explain what you need in your natural language and your agent gets to work. You don’t need to sign up for different AI models or write any code. Everything is included and managed in one intuitive platform.
How we use Autohive at Paadia
We use Autohive across many parts of our work at Paadia. Some of our favourite use cases include:
Receiving a daily digest of AI news, pulled from trusted blogs, websites and newsletters
Running fact checks on our blog posts before we publish
Preparing for meetings and workshops
Tailoring content for different audiences
Challenging our strategic thinking
Tracking the yen exchange rate for a planned trip to Japan (ok, that's more of a private little side project, but it was a fun build I did in Make.com and Autohive simultaneously for direct comparison)
And that’s just the start. There are currently over 130 pages of use cases listed on Autohive’s website. You can explore by industry, filter by function or simply browse and get inspired. Whether you work in education, healthcare, tech, government, or something else entirely, there’s bound to be something you can automate.
Want help getting started?
If you get stuck or need ideas, the Autohive community is brilliant. It’s full of people who genuinely want to help and share what they’ve built. And if you prefer a more guided setup, the team at Paadia is always happy to support you. Whether you need advice on where to start or help with a specific use case, we’re here.
